Snow Time!

Well it's that time of year again. We are finally getting our abundance of snow!!! :) At first I was So happy about this. Trying to stay positive and grateful to the Lord for this season that so many don't even get to enjoy or hate. Also trying to stay upbeat about it for our son, Bennie. Bennie is 3 years old and will turn 4 in February. It is so fun to watch and listen to his excitement over the snow. So Mommy tries to stay excited too, however, yesterday when I had to shovel the 17 Steps and landing to our upstairs apartment I wasn't to excited. When I began shoveling the snow it was still snowing, hence leading me to believe that what I was doing was being done in vain! This snow fall was very pretty, very cold, very wet, and very heavy. "In everything give thanks:"(1Thes. 5:18a). At this moment I was very thankful that I had not yet showered. All humor aside. I do LOVE the snow. It is a time to start thinking about Christmas and why we have Christmas. That Jesus came to earth just to die for us. Also the Snow reminds us of the Scriptures where God tells us how we can be whiter than snow... "wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow."(Ps.51:7 b). Also, Is. 1:18, Dan. 7:9, Matt. 28:3, and Rev. 1:14, so many references to SNOW. Thank God that He uses things we know about to help us understand his word. Thank God that I am saved and am His child and am Heaven bound! Praise God, Praise God, Praise God!
If you'd like to be whiter than snow, and have a home in Heaven, Do as the scripture says and be saved today. II Cor. 6:2- (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
Romans 3:23- For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 6:23- For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 10:9&10- That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, though shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:13- For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Just pray today and ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and come into you heard and save you from an eternity in Hell. Ask Him to prepare a place for you in heaven. To take you there when you die.
