Busy times

So Thanksgiving went really well. Can you believe we had about 17 people there and we had 13 desserts, mostly pies. All the food was very good and overwhelming as always.
We had a lot of fun just sitting around and talking and laughing. One of my favorite parts was getting to sit and talk to Ben's Aunt Vicky. She was recently reunited with the family so I didn't know a lot about her, so it was nice to hear a little bit about her life's story.
I also really like when we all go around the table and talk about what we are thankful for. My husbands response was a good one. He said that he was thankful for Thanksgiving because it gives us a chance to reflect on what we are thankful for.
We got to see Ruby and Andy and the girls again too. That was nice because we haven't seen them in quite a while.
Christmas is right around the corner!!! AHHH So lately we've been trying to get all the decorations up. Will be getting our tree soon to decorate. I will definately post some pictures of our tree once it's up and done!
